Swanstone 32-Inch by 21-Inch Large Granite Single Undermount Ascend Bowl

What the heck is a granite sink, was my first question when I heard about these. Having been out of the kitchen sink loop for over 10 years since I built my house, I did not know they even existed. I was a bit skeptical about them and started doing my homework, and to my surprise everything I found on them was positive.

First I found you could get them in 4 different colors which was nice. But this presented another problem as to what color to choose. We finally settled on granito which is a shade of off white nearly like a bone color. Than the major decision after we decided we liked the granite sink itself was the configuration of the inside of the sink. They have the standard 60/40, 50/50 two bowl sinks and than this one bowl sink. At first we thought it would look like a wash tub. But looking further with its 5 inch raised platform on one side changed the wash tub concept in our minds.

My husband and I are almost laughing when we do the dishes. The ease of a single sink is remarkable and with the partial shelf it works even beter.
The material is easy to clean and looks good. The colors is just what I wanted and to think I had to go to Amazon to find it. The price was comparable or better then other Online sites and It was easy to find just what I wanted in a timely manner. Thanks

We chose one of the dark colors for the Ascend. It's a great concept, the two-tier sink without a separate basin. It lets you wash a very large pot AND have a small, shallow surface for working, too. No regrets. Shows NO dirt.
