Comment: This is a nice faucet, while it last. I had it for about 5 years, the stainless steel version, it was getting harder to make it pivot and one day it stopped pivoting completely. Big crumbles of rust were falling under the sink that made me thought it was the mounting bracket that was rotting since it was covered with rust.
It wasn't it was the bearing washer inside the faucet, it rusted away in crumbles, so the faucet stopped pivoting.
There shouldn't be a problem, after all it is a pricey MOEN faucet right?
Well here is where MOEN show what they are. I wrote them asking for the part because I wasn't able to see it in the parts explode view they have in their web site. I got the answer the next day and it got me astonished:
"The part you described in your email is referred to as a bearing washer bracket and this part is crucial to the faucet's ability to swivel side to side. Unfortunately this part is not available for purchase as an individual part; it is only available when a full faucet is purchased."
Now I have a faucet that is in good shape except for the "bearing washer" and since they don't sell it I have to buy a new faucet. Moreover, the piece in question rusted away in crumbles!!! this means that they are using inferior materials in a faucet that with no doubt's will be in a humid environment.
I could have a bad product but at least I should be able to purchase the parts to repair it instead of having to but a new faucet.

Summary: OK for the price 2010-03-08
Comment: Amazon price was great. I installed the faucet myself. The onlt reason that I did not give 5 stras is the head of the faucet quality which is not so great. Any simmilar product from any other brand would cost more without any advantage.

Summary: Doesn't last 2010-01-04
Comment: I got this faucet about 6 years ago and have had to replace it twice because the handle broke. The company gladly gave me a new one at no charge after it broke the first time, but I had to pay a plumber to install it, so this time I'm going with another brand. Also, after a year or so the faucet extension never worked very well. Conclusion: it's way too expensive for what you are getting.

Summary: Great for IKEA sinks 2009-11-13
Comment: We bought an ikea Farmers sink that already had a precut hole. The ikea faucet that i bought with it was terrible and had no reach at all. This one has the perfect reach to hit the middle of my sink/drain and not splash up on the backsplash like the ikea faucet did. Great buy!

Summary: Easy to install and works great 2009-10-19
Comment: This is typical high Moen quality. This was a replacement for a 12 year old kitchen Delta Faucet. Getting out the old faucet in the cast iron sink took three times as long putting this one in. Installation was straight forward and, not counting the time time to remove the old one, took about 10-15 minutes to install. Very easy and straight forward. You only need a couple crescent wrenches and a screw driver. They do include a specialty tool for getting up behind the sink so you tighten the nut onto the faucet which made the job a breeze. I did use a socket with an extension with a ratchet wrench on the end of their tool and it made it even easier. All in all I was very impressed, my wife is happy (which is important. While you might pay a little more for a Moen its worth it. I highly recommend this faucet, the stainless finish is attractive.
