The Kohler Vault SS sinks are billed as a drop in or undermount application. This is a beautiful sink but fails as a replacement drop in application. BEWARE that the drop in cutout for the 25x22 sinks is 24.5 by 21.5 - yes 1/4" all around!!! So if you have existing hard surface you'll almost surely have the added expense of getting your existing cutout expanded to accomodate this sink. And, no Kohler doesn't provide the drop in #s on their spec sheets! Also, the drain on the Vault series is not centered and another plumbing expense to consider if your previous sink had a centered drain.
