After the very first use large scratches appeared. This was from only dinner plates and bowls sitting in the sink. Attempts were made to clean the scratches using Kohler's recommended methods, to no avail. After 3 emails with Kohler "support", the determination was "normal wear and tear". How can anything show any amount of "wear and tear" after one use? If I buy a new car and while leaving the dealership driveway it quits, would the dealer refuse warranty due to "normal wear and tear"? Maybe that is a poor example in your opinion. OK, how about if you buy a steel skillet and while the clerk is putting it in a bag you notice a surface defect. Would you accept that as "normal wear and tear"? This sink cost 3 times the amount of a budget brand like Moen. I have had Moen sinks that after a decade looked better...Read more |
