Funny, after 10 years in our home we needed to replace our biscuit colored faucet - which meant replacing the sink - which meant, while we were at it replacing the counters with granite. Loved the idea of a brown sink - picked out our granite - and then went searching for the perfect sink and faucet. Unfortunately many of the granite sinks that we found had poor ratings (reports of cracking, discoloration, etc) - the Elkay was recommended to us by a local plumbing supply. Unfortunately it was on back order (other smart shoppers out there?) which delayed completion for 2 weeks, but we just love it - has only been in 2 weeks - accompanied by our Delta venetian bronze faucet (perfect together!). I was fearful of doing an undermount after reading all those bad experiences online - so we did a drop in (this sink works either way) for the just in cases in the future.

I must say that this product doesn't come with QA passed condition. the finish on the bottom of the sink is so rough that make me to believe this particular item didn't pass the quality check and sell it at less. Be aware it who the seller is. I had a bad rating on the seller who claims that they only resposible for the service not the product. Other than that, I like the color and the quality on the beauty surface of the sink. The sink comes with 4 predrilled holes. For the average owner like myself has no right tool to punch out the holes like professional look. Plus the material is solid hard and not easy to work with. I wish the manufacturer needs to consider the inconvenience of the owner and cut out the holes before the shipment.
