Swivel Spout and Quiet Running Hose for Versatile Performance
The Opulence has a curved design with detailing at the base and handle, giving it a handcrafted look. Measuring 17-3/4 inches high with a length of 7-1/2 inches, the swivel spout provides a sleek focal point. And to make everyday chores easier and more productive, the quiet running hose extends to reach every nook and cranny of your sink, and then goes smoothly back in place using its spring retraction.
Two Flow Modes; Ceramic Valve for No Drips
The Opulence provides two flow options--aerated for everyday washing of hands and dishes and the robust spray option for heavy-duty cleaning of pots and pans, the sink, and produce. A ceramic valve ensures smooth, drip-free performance.
Low-Lead Compliancy and Warranty Information
This Opulence faucet is compliant with low-lead requirements of California AB 1953 and Vermont Act 193, meets ADA requirements, and it is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

I installed it on our kitchen sink, but removed and returned it for a refund after 3 days. The faucet and spray mechanism worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the spray head's cheap-looking nylon hose was too short to reach anywhere near the bottom of our 10" deep double sink, which was very frustrating. In addition, the 1 lb. brass counterweight clamped to that hose (needed to pull the hose back into the faucet) hung up on the faucet bottom under the sink if the hose was pulled out "too far". You'd then have to push the hose back into the faucet with both hands, otherwise the hose would bend. More frustration. The final straw was that it was difficult to get the spray head to stay put in the faucet body, without "dangling" loose just a tad. Although not a show-stopper, the Danze was also more difficult to install than it should have been,...Read more 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Danze D454557BS Opulence Single-Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet, Black Satin (Tools & Home Improvement) In all honesty, this is a statuesque and stunning piece of art. But it is best as just that - an art peice. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate installing it somewhere where it is to be gazed upon with aesthetic reverence, but definitely would cringe at the thought of this in a new kitchen.
We bought this from HomeClick in 2005 and even though we run a small household (three humans, 2 dogs) the Danze has fallen short on its grandiose 'opulence'. I was aghast when about a year ago, when the paint (was it not supposed to be some sort of a black metal as opposed to paint?)started chipping, and despite Danze's spectacular service (quick, prompt, professional response - which constitutes one of the tree stars) my faucet refuses to pull back into place after the pull out. A manual pull-out leaves the head dangling just like Victor says in his review. And the control knob has fallen out more than twice. Every few days the base threads loosen up to sway the...Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Danze D454557SS Opulence Single-Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet, Stainless Steel (Tools & Home Improvement) Like a previous poster said, it does create quite a bit of spillage... we have to keep a rag by the sink to wipe up after each use to avoid hard water deposits. The hose will still go back in after the pull-down, three years into its usage, but I do have to feed it back in manually (not one-handed). Also, I was dissapointed to find that the head is NOT stainless steel (I discovered after ruining it with a vinegar cleaning to remove hard water deposits). Even worse is that the head is held in place by a plastic piece inside that we've glued back together several times. We are seeking a replacement, but it's been difficult to get their service department on the line. It's nice for getting at large pots, etc., but if we had it to do over, I'd choose something else. |
